Panacea live and work in Washington DC, the hometown of Murdock, whose has provided his fantasy Hip Hop soundscapes for R&B singers such as Raheem DeVaughn and Bilal Salaam. Raw Poetic originally hails from Philadelphia, and has been rhyming since age 14. His natural, almost conversational flow and signature storytelling lyrics fit perfectly with Murdock's soulful compositions. Such obvious chemistry is incredibly rare, and previously only found in accomplished duos such as Gangstarr.
October 3, 2006 marks the release of Panacea's debut full-length, Ink Is My Drink through a joint venture between Rawkus Records and Glow-in-the-Dark Records.
